The unit of comparison is one payout corridor and recipient type. A provider is included when its official material describes a relevant freelancer, contractor or third-party payout service; there is no hidden numerical score.
A four-stage evidence protocol
Map every recipient type
Separate freelancers, incorporated contractors, marketplace sellers and employees. Record country, legal status, tax documentation and preferred receiving method. A provider can support a country without supporting every recipient type there.
Distinguish card, IBAN, bank and wallet
Check the actual destination rail for each corridor. Card payout, local bank transfer, SWIFT, IBAN transfer and wallet credit have different recipient data, limits, reversal rules and delivery times.
Verify the exact corridor
A headline country count is not enough. Confirm the sender entity, recipient country, payout currency, funding currency and whether conversion is mandatory. Mark unsupported or conditional combinations instead of inferring coverage.
Compare what arrives and when
For one test corridor, request the funding amount, FX rate, sender fee, recipient deductions and delivery estimate. Record cut-offs, compliance holds, failed-payment fees and reconciliation data. Published speed is not a guaranteed SLA.
How to read an evidence record
Use “confirmed in published material”, “conditional” and “not verified” as separate states. These describe the evidence we can cite, not service quality. An unavailable tariff is never recorded as zero. Search and filters change the visible shortlist, not provider eligibility.
Boundaries of this research
This review covers a selected set of providers, not the whole market. It uses public documentation checked on the stated date. No mystery shopping, live account opening, security audit, customer-satisfaction survey or measured transfer test was performed. Terms can change after the check.
